Unoriginal but I love the look of it, so why not? :)
A zentangle I’m actually proud of :).
The Knyt/feather combo is a tangle by Helen Williams, found on her blog ‘A Little Lime’
Not sure who to credit the outside border to, it’s just a pattern I’ve seen around and fallen in love with.
Also, you would not believe how annoyed my sister was to see I ripped a page out of a book… Until I told her it was from Twilight.
The new badge my mum and me designed.
This is beyond amazing. Wow. Just… wow!
I don’t usually reblog much but this has to be shared. Look at that beautiful thing! How do I get one? My camp blanket needs it!

My parents were going to New York next week. Dad was going to go to the big Post Office, to try and get the Disney Pixar Mail a Smile and Send a Hello stamps for me, if they still had them. But they had to cancel their trip, which is a real shame for them. It also means that, once again, my plans to get my hands on those two lovely sheets of stamps are foiled. Curses.
Yeah, that was about all I had to say… Bye!
Through all the last updates, when people were moaning about new buttons or changes in layout, I just responded with a “meh, at least it still works.” After a short while, they were easy enough to get used to, and usually not that major a change.
But now.
But.
Now.
Y’all gone effed up my tracked tags. WHY.
I used to be able to just go along, happily looking through them. It would take one click to change from one to another, and I could always see which ones had new posts for me with one glance to the side of my dash.
Now it takes multiple clicks to get to them (why do I have to go back to my dash to change tag?!), I can’t even see them without clicking a button, and they’re not in an aesthetically pleasing matching colour any more. And what’s with the pictures next to them? Half of them aren’t even related to the tag they’re meant to be representing!
I could put up with button changes.
I could put up with layout changes.
I could cope.
But then you ruined my favourite part of the site WHEN THERE WASN’T ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT.
I love you, Tumblr, but you’ve actually made me angry this time. And I know I’m not the only one. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
/rantover.
If you don’t stop winning so many gold medals, I’m not going to be able to afford all the next day stamps! Also, curse you Royal Mail for only selling them on minature sheets. It would be so much more affordable to buy one of each instead of 6.
I don’t think it’s very likely that I will get to collect them all unless I rob a Post Office (oh the appallingly unfunny irony…) or win the lottery or something. *Sigh.*
Also, I’m going to Germany next week (yay!) so I won’t be around on Tumblr much again until the 12th. Not that I’ve updated much lately anyway, too busy doing nothing…
But when I return, I have an exciting development to tell you about, plus I’ve got a new guide badge trade with a lovely girl in Canada about to go out, so hopefully I’ll get pictures of what she sends sometime after I return.
So, have a good first half of August and I’ll see you all when I get back from Hamburg.
M x
*Also, I don’t really want to curse Team GB, before anyone gets mad at me. I’m pleased they’ve done so well and hope their hard work continues to pay off. Even if I won’t be able to buy the stamps to celebrate it >.<
This was the first page I did. Despite the risk of papercuts to the lip/tongue, it was quite fun!
Fingerprints.
I discovered distress inks stain your fingertips… Oh well, it was still fun!
